About Verdite

Verdite has a vivid green color that often gets mistaken with Jade. However, Verdite is more irregular in its finish, and sometimes appears naturally with yellow, blue-green, brown and even in a swirling pattern. Verdite gets its vivid color from chromium, the same mineral that gives Emeralds their green hue!

Metaphysical Properties

Since it was first located in Zimbabwe, Verdite has been associated with fertility. The stone has many metaphysical values, and is believed to bring one stability in their life.
